AND IT’S FIG SEASON.
Figs from the Fruitery on Main Street, sliced lengthwise, with Honey In The Rough drizzled over them with the tines of a fork (craftily swiped from Davenport. Incidentally, the tiny white bowl I used in this picture was taken from Harvard University. Oops). So luscious! I prefer my figs this way because biting into a whole one always conjures up the mental image of sinking my teeth into a plump purple testicle.
Also, with this post I’ve completely alienated roughly 50% of this blog’s readership. Yay me!
