Psafe awareness report

Public Safety’s weekly awareness report wasn’t published today, which is a cryin’ shame, because some of the ones this week were especially good:

2:04am Disorderly Conduct-Church St
A student reported being hit by a water balloon

12:58pm Police Assist-College St
PS was requested to locate outside contractors who were working on campus

1:30pm Larceny-Church St
PS responded to the reported theft of an elevator control key

1:49am Larceny-High St
Two student were detained after trying to steal furniture from a residence hall

1:07am Medical-Foss Hill
PS observed an intoxicated student who was transported to the ER by ambulance, another student at the scene was escorted from the area by MPD after repeatedly interfering with responding medical personnel

6:07pm Fire Alarm-Home Ave-Steam from shower

And of course, the best for last:

5:45am Property-Pearl St
PS observed an unattended keg which was taken to PS office

And oh yes:10:10pm Odor of Gas-ButterfieldPS and MFD responded to an odor of gas and the area checked with negative resultsWhat Butt A residents learned that night: 1.) they’d better learn to evacuate themselves (it took them maybe half hour to get everyone out)2.) those strange Malaysian fruit can (aparently) smell like a gas leak. At least, that’s what I heard it was…
