Now through Wednesday, November 8th, sign up for the second annual Mocon Thanksgiving Dinner! Grab eight of your closest friends–Your campus “family,” if you will–and get yourselves a turkey this November.
I went to this last year and it was amazing. Every family gets a table and an entire turkey with all the fixings (or whatever the vegan option is this year–I think it’s stuffed squash).
Some technicalities they don’t mention: Every person in your group has to go to Mocon in person to sign up. Annoying, yes, but they need your verification to charge your card. Also, DO bring tupperware the night of the meal: Since it’s not all-you-can-eat, this is the one night where you’re technically allowed to bring food home, and a LOT of it gets wasted otherwise. Plus, it’s really good food.
