A couple days ago, I had coffee with a friend at Pi and we ended up talking about costumes and latex.
She says, “You know, the designer of Fierce Couture went to Wesleyan…”
My jaw dropped to the level of my loins when I heard this statement.
Fierce Couture is one of the premier latex companies in the world along with the ranks of Vex Clothing and Venus Prototype. I want to model their shit, fo real (’cause I’m not spending $400 for a corset).

Tressa Williams is the creator and designer of Fierce Couture. Tressa graduated from Wesleyan in 2000 with degrees in Art and Architectural History. She worked in the costume shop and was also a member of the Eclectic society.
Fierce Couture was founded by Tressa in 2003. The line has been described as “tailored, refined, and edgy” and has garnered international critical acclaim. It has appeared on the runways of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, London, and Berlin.
Seriously, look at what ordinary latex could turn into –

Gorgeous. Hey, maybe you costume shop kids can score an internship with Tressa. All you have to do is send 5 images of your personal work to contact@fiercecouture.com. I’m sure the head of the costume shop could be a good reference. I mean, she does know Tressa personally.
I love talented folk.
