So, I just got back from a big reunion party with my friends from high school, and what does a reunion with my high school friends mean if not new eurodancepop. So I bring you:
DotA by Basshunter (anonymous corrected what my friend told me: DotA is a custom game mod for WCIII. It is played around the world.)
It’s basically about how all day he and his friends sit around playing video games, and at night they go clubbing with hot girls. This is, in fact, what Europe is like.
and Kylie by Akcent
This one seems to simply be about wanting to hook up with a girl. Yes. It features the amazing lyric “Later you can sing to me like a shining star, but i [sic] rather do you on [sic] the back seat of my car.”
And for those of you whose obsession with O-Zone ended at “Dragostea Din Tei” (the Numa Numa song) we have “Despre Tine”:
An oldie but a goodie. Whistling and crotch shots, what more could you want?
And from back in 2003, Norwegian technopop: Bertine Zetlitz’ “Never Had a Girl Like You”
Body mods and lesbian lyrics! Also bits of French!
Ok, that’s all I got for now. Hope you like, or at least laugh.
