Drag Day

DRAG DAY: Dress in drag for a day! (Express your gender differently from the way you usually do)

We want to encourage our community to accept drag as a form of gender expression, forge a safe space for queer people, respond to a slew of hate crimes by showing we will not be silenced as well as challenge gender boundaries and confront intolerance.

Planning— Make art/posters, design an installation or talk about actions for Drag Day. There’ll be food!

  • Date: Monday, November 27
  • Time: 6pm-7pm
  • Venue: Queer Resource Center

Pre-meeting— Swap clothes and discuss strategies for responding to hate speech and violence.

  • Date: Wednesday, November 29
  • Time: 10:30 PM
  • Venue: Queer Resource Center

You should also mention that people should come to rocky horror that same night because it’s drag day.
