As part of its “First Fridays” program at the CCP, this Friday, there will be a discussion about hunger in Middletown and what can be done.
A Wesleyan study found that 1 in 5 Middletown kids experience
hunger or food insecurity at some point during the year. Come
to this month's First Friday to talk with Tracy Heilin from the
Connecticut Association for Human Service, Peter Harding from
St. Vincent DePaul's soup kitchen and food pantry, and campus
groups that deal with hunger issues in Middletown
