Alumni Getting Artsy Wit’ It

Hey techies! If you’re in the NYC area looking for something to do this weekend, let me highly recommend seeing CRAM @ The Chocolate Factory.

The show features an amazing “live horror film” by former WesCeleb Arturo Vidich ’03, compositions by Wesleyan music majors Dan St. Clair ’04 and Matt Bauder ’03, several pieces including performer and sculptor Aki Sasamoto ’04, and a mind-blowingly beautiful and haunting piece conceived by Wesleyan’s Art Studio Technician Kate Ten Eyck, which features dancing by Wesleyan dance major Lily Skove ’04. Shout-outs in the program are extended to Oddfellows Playhouse and Wesleyan professors Hari Krishnan, Jeffrey Schiff, Anthony Braxton, among others.

I will admit that I only decided to go to the show because Kate is my thesis advisor, but I definitely do not regret checking it out. You can read about another one of the collective’s shows here.
