Sonia Sanchez/MLK celebration
Featuring Keynote Address by Sonia Sanchez. This event is intended to help everyone in the Wesleyan community honor the memory and the legacy of Dr. King and his leadership in the Civil Rights Movement. Noted poet Sonia Sanchez will present a keynote address and the event will also feature student reflection, music and excerpts from Dr. King’s 1964 Baccalaureate Address at Wesleyan. A reception in Zelnick Pavilion and the ’92 theater will follow the event.
