Join Sociology Professor Johnathan Cutler and Anthropologist David Graeber for an engaging lecture/discussion on the state of youth activism today.

Activist-anthropologist David Graeber is the author of Towards an Anthropological Theory of Value: The False Coin of Our Own Dreams and Fragments on an Anarchist Anthropology as well as the soon to be released Lost People: Magic and the Legacy of Slavery in Madagascar. Formerly of Yale University, David Graeber is currently working on Direct Action: An Ethnography, which looks at the anti-globalization movement. Maurice Bloch of the London School of Economics considers Graeber “the best anthropological theorist of his generation from anywhere in the world”.
