Music @ Russian House

JAKOV JAKOULOV, a celebrated composer and concert pianist was born in Russia where he began his professional career at age twelve. His works have been commissioned and performed worldwide by symphony orchestras and his music has been presented in numerous festivals from Mexico to Finland.

And now, he’s playing at Russian House for one night only!

In this intimate setting, Jakov will exchange his professional repertoire for a livelier set of Russian Gypsy Folk Songs, thus bringing his virtuosity to the masses.

Joining him will be Wesleyan’s own The Balkan Situations. Refreshments will be abundant.

Song, dance, gaiety and mirth– what more could one want on a Monday night?
