I think this person should just write love letters to the entire campus. A follow up to a word of advice on your thesis— As always, from the ACB:
Pretty soon the magnolia trees near the CFA and the cherry trees near the campus center will bloom. It will be warmer than sixty degrees, and you’ll get to wear shorts. You’ll have time to write letters outdoors. You’ll get to lounge on the hill. And drink lemonade. Maybe you can make some fresh lemonade! Find a recipe! You’ll be done with your thesis. And you’ll have time to replace your housemates’ food. All of it.
