But then again, we rarely get event notices this well-written. It would be a shame to cut it up. Enjoy, courtesy of Omar Davis ’07.

DJ Nickolai, one of the last vinyl spinning disc jockeys on this campus, is rockin’ a couple shows this week.

The first is a chill DJ set down at Javapalooza this Thursday (3/29) from 8-10pm. Food n’ drink purchased from the establishment during the set will go to the vinyl re-up fund, a very worthy cause with future aural benefits for the entire listening community. Come hear jazzy hip hop, rare J Dilla instrumentals, soul classics, and other ear-perkers.

Secondly, a party DJ set will be thumping this Friday (3/30) at Eclectic from 10-psafe. This is a benefit concert for WesPREP, a beloved organization that is concerned with prison reform and education for the incarcerated. Probably a couple bucks, but definitely worth it. The theme is 1920’s and the dance-o-meter will be immeasurable.

Turntablism at its finest – either way you cut it. (pun intended like woah)
