So basically the first commenter wants a blog that covers every disaster that hits close to home for an American. Yeah I thought the news already takes care that, with all it’s manipulation and fear mongering. Also:You know how many people die every day out of this country? Tens of thousands if not more. But when you are reminded of your own mortality, I guess 33 really is greater than 10,000. Maybe 2+2 really does equal 5.

I think it is insane how much shit is taken out on this blog in the name of things people don’t like about Wesleyan University. This is a popular and useful blog. Hit counts will tell you that. Obviously a service is being provided, but nobody’s college education money is going into it, and certainly nobody gets paid. It is a service that did not exist until the likes of Holly and Ishuku created it. If you don’t like it, don’t read it, or better yet create your own blog. But my guess is that wouldn’t be nearly as easy as posting a false connection between an anonymous gripe about Wesleyan, and this blog, fueled by a tragedy that every news source will cover 24/7 to scare you into making more stupid comments.

I’m not sure what wesleying should post other than “33 people killed at Virginia Tech, police still totally unsure who did it,” but I’m sure if you emailed something stating that you’d like to see it addressed to wesleying@gmail.com, someone would consider writing about it.Now, if you would kindly SHUT THE FUCK UP WITH YOUR POINTLESS, ANGSTRIDDEN FLAMING COMMENTS on the very blog you so despise, I would greatly appreciate it. It’s like the poor, misguided individual who posted “It could have been Wesleyan.” on the ACB. The simple fact of the matter is that 33 and perhaps more in the coming hours students lost their lives to a random, sick killer in Virginia. It’s a fucking national tragedy. I have been watching the fucking ABC news video stream on it for the past three fucking hours. It’s very much on my fucking mind, but for you to INSIST that THIS BLOG is the venue for a discussion or some shallow, redundant comment on the tragedy, and that by not posting such a comment we’re somehow exemplary not-caring-about-what-happened LACy internet bitches is to achieve the PINNACLE of immature, whiny, baseless internet bullshit.Crawl back into your puddle of self-righteousness, you whiny little prune.
