Clunky no more: the new WSA website

Remember that clunky, ugly thing that the WSA tried to pass off as a website? Well, it’s no more. Our beloved WSA, in the wee hours of the morning, announced its new site—blandly but functionally named Student Home:
And overall, it’s pretty slick. It’s much more of a useable website than was the previous version, and it has many handy features. You can search Google, the Wesleyan Directory, and the Wesleyan website from the page, and it even has convenient (and dare I say, cute) weather reports. There are links to Blackboard, webmail, and your Electronic Portfolio, to boot.

What’s more, it’s pretty and useful. Get the latest feeds from the Wesleyan homepage and the Argus, and see some recent WSA news. Plus, navigating through the piles of WSA junk is no longer harder than, well, I’ll forego the comparison.

There’s also a space for “Student Events.” Interesting.

Check it out: wesleyan.edu/wsa.

Wait, is there a list of student groups and their contact info anywhere on here? That’s the only thing I use the WSA site for and I can’t find it. Am I looking right at it?
