Remember the new party policy that made it mandatory to register parties in woodframes next year? Well, this last Friday a few WSA members, Matt Ball ’08 (WSA President), Emily Malkin ’08 (Vice Prez), and Mike Pernick ’10 (Student Affairs Committee Chair), met with Dean Rick and Tim Shiner and delayed the policy for at least a semester. Tim and Rick were both worried about legal responsibility issues, but they understood our worries about the policy and we’ll be working together next year to come up with a new policy that addresses the same issues (hopefully without requiring registration for parties).
