2011 beats the system, again.

1) Go to http://webmail.wesleyan.edu, or http://www.wesleyan.edu/wesep for E-Portfolio.
2) Userid: first initial/last name (i.e. Jesus Christ = jchrist). Password: initials + wesID (i.e. jc123456).
3) Profit!

If you have a common last name, your username might include your middle initial (jhchrist instead of jchrist) or numbers (jchrist02).

Edit: Anthony Smith ’11 writes:

If you can’t figure out your email address, go to where it says “Portfolio Search Screen” and click. Enter your last name and press enter. Click your name on the list below. From there, click on “Student Portfolio” and then run your mouse over where it says “Email (Your Name Here)”. Look at the bottom-left corner of your browser, and it will tell you your email address. As for your password, mine was screwy. Instead of being asWESID, I was abWESID. AB are my first and middle initial.

We did this 2 years ago to get onto facebook early, and it’s the same system. But props if someone figured it out on their own.

Err.. hadn’t quite woken up – I mean to say look for the link in your e-portfolio that says Email Forwarding.

There’s.. two ways to forward your email to gmail if you’re a student. The recommended way is to look for the link that says “Email Forwarding”. The other, less supported way is to click on “Filters” on the top part of the webmail at https://webmail.wesleyan.edu and build a filter that forwards some or all of your mail to a different location. Both work fine as far as I know.

Password is first two characters of your email username + WESID, not necessarily your initials.
