So, while it seems we at Wesleyan are quite proud of our musical traditions and history, it also seems that we aren’t always genuine fans. I was perusing the Wesleyan website when I came across this little gem, under “Wesleyan Facts and Trivia.”
‘On May 3, 1970, the Greatful Dead gave a free concert at Wesleyan. John Perry Barlow ’69, co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, co-wrote several Dead songs with Bob Weir, including “Hell in a Bucket” and “I Need a Miracle.”’
I am not normally this nitpicky, but Jerry is rolling in his grave. I wonder if Fish ever played here?
