WesPREP

WesPREP Prison Solidarity Programs: Express solidarity with prison inmates through academic workshops that strive to provide a supportive space for ideas in prison. We are also sending Wesleyan students into classrooms in CJTS( connecticut juvenile training school), a correctional facility for people ages 14-17.

Q: How do I know if I’m qualified to facilitate a workshop?
A: Anyone who is passionate about communicating their interests to others is qualified to facilitate. Rather than assuming a role of expertise, fascilitators primarily attempt to foster a creative space for discussion and mutual learning. In addition, workshop facilitators will have access to faculty mentoring, to aid with the process of generating workshop curricula.
