Green Series: Sustainable Garden Tour

EON is putting together a “Green Series,” which is basically a bunch of activities/events you can actually DO. This week’s event is a tour of a super eco-friendly garden/house owned by Shawn Hill (he works for ITS). His residence uses geothermal energy, which is pretty much the coolest thing…ever. I think.

What: Sustainable Living Garden Tour
When: Wednesday, 10/10 at 4:30 pm
Where: meet behind Exley (in that parking lot right as you exit)

Shawn (and his wife, history professor Magda Teter) were having some trouble finding a person who will be here over Fall Break to take care of their Jack Russell Terrier, Zoe. If anyone is interested, you should definitely e-mail either of them (mteter@wes usually works) and let them know if you can do it. I usually take care of her, but unfortunately I won’t be here either. But Zoe is wonderful and someone should talk to them about taking care of her for a bit.~Michelle K.
