Ang Lee Movie Series

The Academy Award winning Taiwanese director, Ang Lee, has just received another Golden Lion Award with his new film, “Lust, Caution” (??). To celebrate this, TCS is holding an Ang Lee Movie Series right after fall break!

Date: Wednesday, October 17th
Time: 8pm – 10pm
Venue: SC109

We’ll play Ang Lee’s first Academy Award winning film, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (????). Find the introduction here.

Date: Thursday, October 18th
Time: 8pm – 10pm
Venue: SC109

We’ll play Ang Lee’s second Academy Award winning film, Brokeback Mountain (???). Find the introduction here.

Date: Saturday, October 20th

We’ll actually go down to Bow Tie Cinema in New Haven to watch “Lust, Caution”! Find the introduction here.
If you want to join this trip you have to RSVP by mailing Wade (chsu@wes) or Sarah (swu02@wes) before Thursday night (10/18). Indicate in the mail if you have a car and can drive.
The transportation will be free as long as there are enough cars (gas money will be funded!) You only have to pay for the ticket to the cinema.

The two film showing on Wednesday and Thursday will be free, and we are planning to sell the most popular Taiwanese drink, PEARL MILK TEA. Come join the awesome movie and awesome drinks!

    I believe the Chinese title of _Lust, Caution_ has a deliberate “dot” mark between ? and ?.??? kinda like that. Love,Chinese Pedant. Can’t wait for the showing!!!
