So, it emerges that your friendly neighborhood WSA, in addition to their quest to force greenitude into our administrative establishment, has done a lot of work putting together a sweet calendar of student events. We’re hopefully going to be contributing some content to that calendar, but in the mean time I’ve ensconced it (with some additions) at the bottom of the page. I find that the agenda view tends to avoid the clutter that comes with how frickin’ many events we have on this campus, but suit yourself and give us some feedback.

5:48person,1. This is concerning. What browser are you using? I’m on a mac using camino, and the page renders and works fine even before the calendar thing is fully loaded, but maybe other browsers wait for ajax-y things to be fully loaded before pagerender?? I don’t know. I’ll poke around with it. It’s possibly because the calendar is a composite of many calendars… we’ll see.2.Weekend roundups are definitely still possible, but the agenda view for Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun should essentially BE the weekend roundup. we’ll see.

I think Vernon made that, through IMS.

Excellent work, the Wesleying readership owes you a debt. Two comments: 1) I’m finding that the calendar loading makes Wesleying load slower (between a slightly and much, much degree), but so far it hasn’t been a huge problem2) Does this mean that the former “eeeverything that’s happening this weekend” posts aren’t going to be happening anymore? Cuz those were really, really useful. Could these two resources live peacefully together? Maybe with the simplification of not including a link to the report on every single event?

I really appreciate your work with coordinating calendars and stuff. You’re like, the unsung hero of Wesleying.
