Get a ride.
Student Advocates For Transportation (also on facebook) is a Wesleyan student group that believes student transportation should be affordable, convenient, and competitive with our peer institutions. This semester, we plan to:
- Work with WSA and Transportation services to fix the currently insufficient Wesleyan shuttle
- Work with IMS to establish an electronic ride board
- Work to bring ZipCar to campus (if students express interest).
Right now, we need student members! Whether you want to voice your opinion, show your support, reduce our carbon footprint, or take a leadership role on a project with tangible results, come help SAFT make sure you never have to beg (or be begged) for a ride again.
What: Student Advocates For Transportation
When: MEETING TODAY (and every Monday) 6:30pm, University Organizing Center

If you’ve had a tough time getting off campus, get involved with SAFT. Expanding the Wesleyan shuttle service to be FREE, convenient, and comprehensive is a real possibility this year thanks to President Roth, who is crafting a new Strategic Plan for the university. Vice President Peter Patton indicated that improvements to the shuttle service can be included in the new Plan if we students show that this is something we really want. Join SAFT and have your voice heard – it will make all the difference.
