Latino Awareness Month: This week

Friday: La Unidad Latina and Senoritas Latinas Unidads are having a game night in an effort to raise funds and toys for the Traverse Square kids. There will be all types of games ranging from Dominoes to XBOX 360 with Halo 3 so come through and get your game on so that the Traverse square kids can have some toys this XMAS.
Where: MPR/Game room in Usdan

Saturday: Expressiones, as always, expect to have a great time with a variety of performances in dance, poetry, spoken word, song, etc. This events sells out every year so make sure you get your tickets early at the box office (tix have been on sale since last Tuesday).

Following Expressiones is the after-party hosted by La Unidad Latina and Senoritas Latinas Unidas with DJ ILL WIL spinning the hottest Hip Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, & Dancehall! DEFINITELY NOT TO BE MISSED…..

On Sunday there will be La Unidad Latina “Trade-Off” event: come bring clothing, books, school supplies, anything at all (except food) that can be donated to the less fortunate. In return receive a traditional baked good or traditional Latino dessert for your generosity.
