Dear Student:
On Monday November 19th, Wesleyan Station will introduce e-mail notification for packages. You will no longer get a paper slip notifying you that you have received a package too large for your mailbox. Instead you will receive an email telling you that something has arrived and where you may pick it up.It will be necessary for you to make a note of the location and the package type. You will be required to have that information to pickup your package.
Starting next month, they will be emailing us our meals. I miss Germany, where you have to purchase a slip of paper in the cafeteria to print from lab computers.

does anybody else think that nobody is going to remember/write down the description and location of their package.

I tried to get them to do this when I worked there, looks like they do follow suggestions, allow 3 years for processing time. Actually that’s not fair on my part, they got a new system that allows this to be done more easily. It’s good for the reasons already mentioned and also because if you get something like flowers or other perishables you will stand a better chance of getting it in time, and because I trust email more than I trust a package slip mysteriously getting lost.
