I am a Christian who does believe in evolution. From that single data point (me), we know that it is possible to believe both the Bible and science. (Darwin knew this, too.)What is in actual conflict is misinterpretation of the Bible and misinterpretation of science. The Bible actually does not say evolution could not have been created by God.(God could have overclocked evolution.)And science actually does not say evolution could not have been created by God, either.(Oh sure, atheists say science does say, “no god.” But they are atheists. What Christian believes any atheist?)I believe that no matter what science says is true, if it really is true, then God created it.So, my faith can never be attacked by science.

Sadly a lot of people don’t believe carbon-14 dating is real… nor do they believe much science is real. But you know, when your religion requires you to stitch your children’s eyes up the moment they’re born, this seems to be a normal outcome.

A majority of Americans reject Evolution. This doesn’t mean they believe in exactly the crap presented in this museum, but yeah, a substantial majority of Americans reject evolution. (And it isn’t too much of a leap of faith to say most of those Americans re Christian.)Sorry 9:35

Indoctrinating kids into religions is not new. We’re just more aware of it now.Picture 36 says: dragons were real.

It’s shocking to me that so many people can be taken in by this nonsense. These people have never picked up a science text, and yet they get millions of dollars worth of funding just so they can “protect” their sheltered little children from their own curious minds.
