Andy Zack ’09 and George Bennum ’09 will be leading a student forum on woodworking this coming semester. George writes:
In this course we will cover the history of woodworking as well as practical applications. There will be several introductory projects that will build basic woodworking skills, and a final project in which students will create a piece of furniture of their own design.
Class size is limited to 6, and the students will be working in conjunction to create a set of furniture that has a common theme. Please contact George Bennum (gbennum@wes) if you are interested in taking the class for more information. All abilities are welcome.
Six is a small number. If you’re interested, get on it!
