Last Chance to get in on the Organic Co-Op

Here are the basics of the Organic Fruit and Veggie Coop:

-The produce is all organic.

-Gary at weshop will do the ordering based on what members want to get. I am having everyone fill out a produce preference sheet when they sign up.

-I will email everyone a list of what they will be receiving each week as well as a recipe that includes some of the produce items of the week.

-Pick up will be at weshop every Thursday between 5 and 7.

-Every member will sign up to volunteer for 1 hour during the semester sitting at weshop and helping with pick up and clean up afterwards. I will email about this later in the week.

-The price is 165 points for the semester (which is 15 points per week). This may be split between two or more people if you wish.

-I can’t tell you exactly how much food there will be each week, but think about what 15 points buys. It will be enough food for 2-3 meals, I assume. Maybe something like this: 1 head broccoli, 2 grapefruit, 1 bunch of kale, a few potatoes, and a mango.

There are a couple ways for you to sign up if you are still interested. You must sign up by TONIGHT because the order will be processed on Tuesday. Our first delivery of produce will be this Thursday. To sign up you can come to my house (316 Washington which is the second from the corner of washington and vine) anytime today between 4 and midnight OR you can go to the Olin reserve desk and sign up with Talia Barrett between between 3:00 and 5:00 today. If you have any questions you can ask Talia or me when you stop by or you can call me at 612-210-0299 or send me an email.

If you are splitting a share with someone else, we need both wesIDs and signatures for the wescard office.
