Sales of Red Bull will skyrocket: LAN parties!

Seth Rosen ’10 is itchin’ for a good LAN party, and hopes you’re itchin’ to party with him. Seth writes:

After a full year at Wesleyan, I’ve been pretty disappointed by the level of activity of gamers on campus. So, I’m looking to change that. Somewhere down the road, we’ll be holding LAN parties and playing together online on a regular basis. But there are a few intermediary steps.

Let’s get organized! If you have any interest in attending/helping to plan such events (maybe establish a student group), join up at Facebook or email sirosen@wes (Facebook is preferred because it’s simply easier to keep track of, etc).

Not much else to say—if you love videogames, and want to play them with other people who love videogames in a hot room into the wee hours, then click the above link, or shoot me an email. Either way, let’s get this show on the road.

    FPS and some RTS it seems like. Honestly though it’s easy enough to get good DotA games without any help anyway. And why would you need LAN parties for WoW?

    From the responses I’ve been getting so far, it looks like we mostly have an FPS crowd, so: fret not. :D
