For all of their whining about us being “the most annoying liberal arts college”, gawker.com seems to be the only one who thinks we are that obscure compared to our fellow universities. In an article called The Top 25 Strangest College Courses, collegedegree.com lists some great classes, but none from Wes. The number one course is “Mail Order Brides: Understanding Phillipines in Southeast Asian context” from JHU, but some other greats include “The Phallus” from Occidental, “Finding Dates worth Keeping” from the University of Sioux Falls, “Maple Syrup: The Real Thing” from Alfred University and the “Art of Walking” from Kentucky’s centre college.
