LIVE STREAM: Ned Lamont and Kal Penn

It’s rainy, so for those of you who don’t have umbrellas or otherwise would rather not attend today’s event in person, check out the live stream below. I’ve never done live video streaming before, so if there are any kinks in the process I hope you will forgive them.

As part of a final push for Barack Obama in Connecticut in advance of Super Tuesday, Ned Lamont and Kal Penn are appearing at UConn, Wesleyan University, and Yale University today, rallying students to Obama’s candidacy. As you may already know, Ned Lamont endorsed Obama–an endorsement that just got a lot more meaningful (IMO) now that the race is between just two candidates who are polling neck-and-neck in Connecticut.

Below is a live stream video of their stop at Wes today (LIVE from approx. 4pm to 5pm EST on Feb. 1, 2008):

Fox 61 (the local Fox station, which isn’t the same as Fox News) will be reporting on this event. Their broadcast airs at 10pm.

The audio is working for me- it took a little bit but it’s now fixed and working fine.I’m using Firefox if that matters.

“As you may already know, Ned Lamont endorsed Obama–an endorsement that just got a lot more meaningful…”Sure, he just got endorsed by a guy who, despite inexhaustible funds and running as a democrat in one of the bluest states in the nation, couldn’t beat Joe Lieberman. Not sure I’d want that endorsement.

I’ve heard (pardon the expression) that audio is not coming through. Everything seems to be fine on my end, but I am recording the event to tape and will upload it for later viewing if this live stream does not work as I expect.
