My Kingdom For a Whore is an original comedy in two acts written by Rob Boyd ’08, set to be produced through Second Stage on April 10th – 12th. In this show, Brian Kelting, a mild-mannered kid living in middle America, finds himself taking the throne of a small European nation quite by accident. Together, with his two assistants – one a weathered, laid-back casino rat, the other a sassy mama bear who specializes in prostitutes and strippers – he’s going to desperately try and save this country from itself. Will it work? Will he find love? Will his kitten-punching grand vizier finally succeed in thwarting his plans? Just how much beer CAN he drink?
…all this and more will be revealed when you audition!

Tuesday (2/5) from 7:30pm to 10:30pm
Wednesday (2/6) from 5:00pm to 7:30pm
Auditions take place in the East room and Jones room in the Theatre Studios at the back of the CFA. For those of you not in the know, follow the path in the CFA through the Music Studios archway, past the old CFA cinema, and past that pink building, and you’ll run right into the Theatre Studios. That’s where we are! Don’t be shy, we’re friendly!
Two things:
1) Make sure to sign up for a time slot on the Theatre Studios Call Board (inside the door on your left) BEFORE auditions happen!
2) Please prepare a comedic or serio-comedic monologue (3 minutes max, please) and be prepared to do cold readings. It’ll be fun, we swear!
