UPDATE:
To answer the question in the comments, the bus will take us back at 7 (making multiple trips if necessary). The campaign needs help cleaning up after the event, and if you stay for that, there is a good chance that you might be able to meet someone, perhaps even the Senator himself.
Stuck getting a ride to the Obama rally in Hartford tomorrow? Max Rothstein ’11 and Bradley Spahn ’11 have the answer to your prayers…
Three FREE buses will be loading up students in front of the Usdan University Center tomorrow, leaving at 2:10, 3:10, and 4:10. No tickets are required – just show up on Wyllys Ave at any of those times for a free ride to the rally.
Obama will be there, of course, as will other speakers and musical guests…but probably not will.i.am. Nevertheless, check out his latest contribution:
12:58pm – thanks a lot.

How big are the shuttles? Will there be enough room for everyone, especially on the 4:10 bus? Will people on the 4:10 bus be able to get into the rally?

John Pelkey, who’s a city councilor in South Windsor, CT was generous enough to provide the funds for the bus. (It’s actually an amazing story that says alot about him and the campaign)There will be bus captains on each bus ride there that will have information about the return trip. So they’ll have the final info.

The buses are not supplied by Wesleyan, but were organized by Max and Bradley.Wesleyan’s 501 (c)3 tax status would get in the way of supplying buses to the McCain or Obama rallies. =)However, that doesn’t stop Wes from providing vans to the polls on Tuesday, which will be running between the Butt parking lot, Usdan, and 150 William (where we vote) ALL DAY LONG.
