If you figure that Wesleying readers are a fairly random cross-section of our student body, then the poll they conducted indicates Wes went for Obama. There are other variables — eg how many of us voted absentee, how many of us voted in the survey but didn’t follow up at the polls, etc. — but still, 66% is pretty decisive.

No way did Wes swing it, the numerical margin is far, far too big for Wes voters to have had any significant impact. Beisdes, who says all or even most students even voted for Obama? Many may have seen through the bluster to his total lack of meaningful experience and policy.
