SUPER TUESDAY!!!

Here it is, the day that could determine each party’s presidential nominee – pundits and politicians across the country have been wetting themselves over for weeks. If you’re registered in Connecticut, experience the joy of voting all day today at The Senior Center, 150 William Street, on the block past Broad Street Books on your way to Main Street. As posted earlier, there will be shuttle vans leaving every hour from campus for anyone who wants to do their civic duty without walking the necessary three blocks. Don’t forget to bring along your photo ID!

In the event that you still haven’t made up your mind about which candidate to vote for, perhaps you need to be persuaded by celebrities and newspaper editorials! The New York Times presents a lot of major endorsements in one handy graphic. Here’s a brief, biased, purely superficial summary of some notables endorsing each candidate:

Hillary Clinton (D): The NY Times; Bill Clinton; such big-name politicians as Chuck Schumer, Madeleine Albright, Geraldine Ferraro; probably your parents
Barack Obama (D): Oprah Winfrey, the Boston Globe, the LA Times, the remaining important Kennedys, Scarlett Johansson, The Wesleyan Argus
John McCain (R): The NY Times, Arnold Schwarzenneger, Sylvester Stallone, Henry Kissinger, Rudy Giuliani, The Wesleyan Argus
Mitt Romney (R): Ann Coulter, a lot of old white men
Mike Huckabee (R): Chuck Norris, Stephen Colbert’s on-air persona
Ron Paul (R): Howard Stern, Arlo Guthrie, a lot of blogs

And of course, P. Diddy advises you to VOTE OR DIE, mothafucka:

Obama has said things of substance. Listen to his interviews, debates, etc. I just listened to his interview yesterday with Wolf Blitzer at 4 where he talked about foreign policy and I was quite convinced. His policy is MILES better than Hillary’s.

I love listening to Obama – the energy and enthusiasm is contagious. But I swear he hasn’t said one thing of substance. It’s all platitudes. Does that me he’s the devil, or has he just been spending too much time with Oprah?

Hahaha… the same company owns The NY Times and the Boston Globe. I wonder who’s hedging their bet.
