Pwned by Brown?

Sigh.

In recent years, the Spring Weekend has seen Brown play host to the likes of the Flaming Lips, Yo La Tengo, the Roots, Ted Leo, Common, Wilco, the Shins, and others. And this year’s spring fling, taking place April 11-12, will once again pack a mighty wallop, with Vampire Weekend (representing Brown nemesis Columbia) joining Lupe Fiasco on Friday night, and M.I.A., Girl Talk, and jammy jammersons Umphrey’s McGee doing their thing Saturday.

  1. fame for fortune

It’s quite clear to me that nobody at Wesleyan knows anything about good music. Now let’s be serious and try to get Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears!

losing MIA had nothing to do with money (though she is pretty greedy in regards to coming to ct from brooklyn to do a one-off). the date for wesleyan spring fling just did not work for her touring route. nothing is set in stone for the other bands, social committee is working on it.

I heard the new pornographers were frontrunners, they are excellent and nobody can seriously dislike them – unlike very questionable suggestions like my chemical romance and counting crows, sorry

Lay off the haterade, ‘The Black Parade’ is a damn stellar album. So what if the eye shadow is stupid, you’re not listening to the look.

I agree. How anyone likes that band I don’t understand. Useless emo fools with no talent – they sound like every other shitty emo-punk band.
