Yeah, I do think that replacing the Nader survey with the one about American Gods is a little bit silly and much less applicable to a wider readership

Yeah, I read it a while ago and did not enjoy it.I guess it’s cool that he’s putting it out there for free though. Although… bookchan has so many ebooks. I found American Gods, and 10 more Gaiman books, pretty effortlessly. The frontpage explains how everything works. Insert obligatory “only download books if you already own them” statement here. Here’s their Gaiman thread http://www.anonib.com/bookchan/index.php?t=48

The American Gods survey is bad, because the worst you can rate the book is “ok”. I mean, seriously.

This is one of my top 3 favorite books. So masterful, and I notice new things every time I read it.

It is, indeed, an excellent book.I’ve found the best way to read books on the computer without killing your eyes is to turn the contrast/brightness down most of the way, and make the text big enough you don’t have to look too closely to see it.

This is an AMAZING book. I highly recommend reading it to anyone who has the time. Also, see Gaiman’s graphic novels if you like his writing.
