Make money while gardening this summer

Long Lane Farm sends us word of a summer job opportunity:

Spend this summer as a Community Garden Coordinator in Middletown! Get to know Middletown residents and spend your days outdoors with your hands in the dirt. Main duties include managing the William Street Garden and working with local kids in the Traverse Square garden. Some knowledge of gardening is preferred, but good energy and the ability to work with children, adults and seniors are the most important skills. Pay is $3000+ for the summer (more for work-study students).

    Hey, $3,000 a summer for working with plants and pint sized people sounds like a model summer vacation for any student! I have a great website to have student employees check out in their spare hours…. it gives great tips to make gardening magic ! :)

    Gardening with kids and making money as a summer job at the same time– what a model summer! Gardening, like anything has tricks of the trade to make it easy for anyone. I found a really helpful website that addresses all areas of gardening. Check it out! Add some extra joy to the job!
