Wes Alum Benh Zeitlin ’04 and the filmmakers of Court-13 bring their epic, soon-to-be-infamous, short film GLORY AT SEA! to Wesfest for a special screening not to be missed. The film is a radical re-envisioning of the myth of Orpheus set amidst a Post-Katrina New Orleans and stars all NOLA natives. The film received an overwhelming amount of praise at South by Southwest for its cinematic feats, where it was awarded the 2008 Wholphin award for Best Short Film and helmed as “Herzogian” for both its scope and heart. Producers Dan Janvey ’06 and Par Parkeh ’04 will also be around for a Q&A session after the screening.
