S&C this week – full of yum

From now on, there will be a 50 cent surcharge for meals at the S&C that are taken out to-go.

Monday, April 21st
Dinner – Green Salad with Cider Vinaigrette, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Chicken or Tofu,
Roasted Shallot Sauce, Grilled Vegetables, Carrot Cake

Tuesday, April 22nd
Lunch – Fresh Herb and Caramelized Onion Frittata with or without Bacon, Roasted Potatoes, Dill Crème, Fruit Salad
Dinner – Green Salad with Garlic Vinaigrette, Puerto Rican Rice and Beans with Chicken or Tofu
(Vegan), Lemon Poppy Cake

Wednesday, April 23rd
Lunch – Penne Pesto with Garlic Shrimp or Balsamic Tofu, Pineapple Yogurt
Dinner – Green Salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette, Lasagna with Meat Ragu or Tofu Marinara,
Strawberries and Cream

Thursday, April 24th
Lunch – Minted Spring Pea Bisque, Flat Bread Crisp, Blackberry and Raspberry Yogurt
Dinner – Green Salad with Cilantro Dressing, Meat or Vegetable Chili, with Scallion, Cheddar
Cheese, Sour Cream, and Corn Bread (Vegan without garnish), Banana Custard

(note: remember that if you’re looking for chametz-free food that’s kosher for Pesach, Usdan will be serving it every meal this week with a slight surcharge!)

    Probably because it costs them on paper products. That’s standard in restaurants everywhere.

    You go, ask the steward for takeout, and then wait in the living room until they bring it out. If you go when its busy (starting around six) it will take a little while, but if you go earlier it normally doesn’t take too long.
