Earth Day 2008

So, is Earth Day about as big a deal as Arbor Day, or Grandparents’ Day at this point? Boxing Day in Canada? Is it a thing at Wesleyan? Where is the love?

Yeah I think Earth day is like, for people who normally don’t think about it to be like, whaa? the environment? our planet? it’s not quite as applicable to Wesleyan, at least not in the way it’s practiced in most places. We had earth day last semester… some major green thing, i forget what that was.

wesleying should try and do more liveblogging of wes life. like, who would have known that anything had been going on in the usdan courtyard today at lunch if they hadn’t been there. stuff like short, interesting recaps of events of the day if anything noteworthy goes on, with pictures even! I mean I know you’re all superbusy but it might be something to consider, esp. since so many posts here are just of future events.

I don’t think I can mentally handle another ‘holiday’ after Zonker Harris and 4/20. Sorry, I’ll recognize my love for the earth in maybe a week.
