My favorite performance of his was the time I ran into him busking in the subway late night, just playing melancholy late-night-subway songs. Despite his obvious talent for writing great songs, Chris is also one of the most phenomenally talented guitarists I’ve ever met. The volume he produces just with his fingers is astounding. In another life, he was clearly a crack flamenco player.
