The “violent insensity of his live act”?–I think I can help you with that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atrZxtNUJSkAlso, seconding Jesse–“Ann Coulter” is great and all, but Chris is really a phenomenal guitarist. My favorite performance of his was the time I ran into him busking in the subway late night, just playing melancholy late-night-subway songs. Seriously–you’re missing out if you only love the wackiness.

Despite his obvious talent for writing great songs, Chris is also one of the most phenomenally talented guitarists I’ve ever met. The volume he produces just with his fingers is astounding. In another life, he was clearly a crack flamenco player.
