Righteous Music Festival on Wash.

Ben Bernstein ’10 writes in to tell us about a music festival he’s got planned:

A Walk To Remember: 202 Wash Fest; 5 Bands, Lots of Art, and FREE FOOD

This Sunday at 4 PM will be the first annual Walk To Remember Festival
on the lawn between 202 and 230 Wash. No, this isn’t some ploy to get
you to move to Washington street, but just a fun venue to listen to
music, make art, and eat free food!

Two Wesleyan bands (The Shade and Decora) will be joined by Birch Trees
(Yale), Red Sails (Sarah Lawrence), and Trevor Wilson (Bennington).
There will be tons of art supplies so you can draw, paint and sculpt
while you eat and listen to tunes. See you there, even if it rains
(which it won’t).

On a slight editorial note: no explanation was forthcoming as to why it is called “A Walk to Remember.” Titles aside, my sources at Bennington have confirmed that Trevor Wilson is awesome and awesomely talented.

WHAT: Music Festival
WHEN: Sunday, May 4th – 4 PM
WHERE: 202/230 Wash. lawn
WHY: sweet music, free food, art. surely you don’t need any more reasons.
