Let me just preface this by saying that I get ridiculously excited whenever I find Wesleyan in places I don’t expect to. I guess I should have seen this one coming/not been so surprised, but this year BFD (an all-day concert thing that happens in Mountain View, CA) features two Wesleyan (Wesleying) favs: MGMT and Santogold. 
So, if you live in the Bay, are visiting the Bay, or wish you lived in the Bay (um, how could you not?), you may want to score tix (for $10.53, of all the random prices). The other bands playing are like, eh, okay…but whatever, maybe you’re into it. The concert is happening on June 7th (aka next weekend).

Yesterday while I was in a music store here in England I noticed (and got excited about) the fact that both Santogold and MGMT were on their main “chart” display at the front of the store.MGMT is pretty big here – I recently heard someone talking about them on the bus, they get played in commercials, their video is on pretty often.
