Raw milk co-op is back!

Do you like milk, but are uncomfortable with the way the industry is run? The raw milk co-op is starting up again for the semester, which buys milk from Deerfield Farm in Durham.

Deerfield has about 40 Jersey cows who produce wonderfully creamy milk. They use no BST, no chemical fertilizers, and no pesticides on the fields. The cows are very happy pastured cows.

The first buying period will include these dates:
Monday September 15th, Sunday September 21st, Sunday September 28th, and Sunday October 5th

To buy in for a quart, it costs $9 ($2.25 a week)
To buy in for a 1/2 gallon, it costs $13 ($3.25 a week)
To buy in for a gallon, it costs $23 ($5.75 a week)

Pick up will be on Sundays from 6-8pm at 69 Home Avenue. However, this week ONLY, pick up will be on Monday from 6-8pm.If you are interested or if you have any questions- please email teaton@wes for more info.
