    Am I the only one that found about 90% of this to be untrue? Sara Palin is constantly criticized for the things that she’s supposedly getting away with (being inexperienced, etc.). If Obama were white, he’d still be called a naive elitist (think about John Kerry). I do agree with him on a few points, like patriotism and Palin’s baby, but besides that it seems like a stretch to me.

    tim wise is fuckin great. like seriously… imagine if obamas daughter was 17 and got pregnant. we’d be hearing about welfare cheating negroes who lack values and cause social problems for months.

    Some of these examples are certainly due to factors other than white privilege, and in a way they delegitimize actual claims of white privilege. For example: “White privilege is being able to fire people who didn’t support your political campaigns and not be accused of abusing your power or being a typical politician who engages in favoritism”Nearly all politicians do this, and I don’t know any reason to believe that white people get called out on it less than others.
