Wesleyan Station hours reduced

Beginning next Monday (Oct. 20), the post office service window (upstairs, next to the mailboxes) will open at 11:00 AM, instead of 9:30 AM. The downstairs package window will still open at 9:00 AM, and both will remain open until 4:30 PM.

They did something similar for a couple of weeks this summer due to limited staff; I’m not sure if it’s because of that or simply a lack of early-morning traffic.

Um…we’ve got it pretty easy. Just about everything we need is within walking distance, and having to do a little planning ahead is not such a hardship.

Sam: You’re lucky. At Davenport, the service window closed at 3:30, and the package window accepted its last package slips at “4:20 pm SHARP.”I do agree it should open and close later, though.

At least the upstairs window is open until 4:30 now, instead of 4 like it was last year.Even still, it’s like the post office goes out of its way to offer the most inconvenient hours imaginable. I would like to see it open a half an hour or so later and close at 5 or 5:30. I shouldn’t have to plan my days around when I can pick up packages when I get them.
