Camara Awkward-Rich ’11 writes:
Slam poet and activist Andrea Gibson, winner of the first annual Women of the World Poetry Slam, is coming to Wesleyan! Her work deals with issues of war, race, sexuality, gender, art, sexual assault, and (of course) love and heartbreak. This will be a phenomenal show, well worth the three bucks.
There will be a free dinner-dicussion with Andrea after the show, open to all Wes kids who buy tickets.
Tickets are available at the box office or at the door. Email cawkwardrich@wes for more info.
Date: Saturday, Nov. 1
Time: 3:00 PM
Place: Crowell Concert Hall
Cost: $3 for Wes students
