You can go vote even if you aren’t registered, but you have to bring I.D. AND proof that you live at your Wesleyan address, like a bill. One problem: our mail goes to our P.O. Boxes, not our actual addresses. Can anyone think of a possible solution? I have a friend who was turned away this morning for this reason.

The Middletown Eye has a photo of the first Wesleyan students who voted in Middletown today! Also, we bumped up the post letting people know that they can vote even if they did not register. This is especially important for people who ordered an absentee ballot from their homestate but never received it. I suggest that Wesleying do the same and lead with your “IT’S NOT TOO LATE” post! Be sure to let them know they have to bring their driver’s license, and that’s all (actually, I’m not sure if they can bring an out-of-state driver’s license! Someone should check on that…)Thanks for all you Wesleying-ers do!-Jen Alexander ’88
