Cans Across Campus food drive this week

Quiet, please! I’m about to mention Bon Appétit.

Last year, I would’ve made some snarky comment or posted a pretty silly image that made fun of Bon Appétit’s ridiculous rules, before telling you what they had to say. But this is for a good cause, and Bon Appétit has—gasp—actually improved a lot since the days of Delmar, so forgive my editorializing. Without further ado…

Bernice Laille of Bon Appétit writes to tell us that the Cans Across Campus food drive is happening through Nov. 20. All proceeds will benefit the St. Vincent DePaul Place and Amazing Grace, two valuable programs in Middletown that help disadvantaged families and individuals get the food they need.

They’re looking for canned soup, canned fruits, pasta, rice, dry beans, peanut butter, canned veggies, 100% fruit juice, spaghetti sauce, stuffing mix, boxed potatoes, gravy mix, pancake mix, and powdered milk. Find drop locations listed in the above image.

Sad that everyone pisses on Delmar now that he is gone. Sounds like he is having the last laugh, though.
